Lucy the Owl

Lucy the Barn Owl appeared in the owl house on the morning of 12/29/10 in Poway, CA. It was raining that day and she stayed in all day. Ricky joined her that evening. They were living in a large palm tree not far from the owl house. They checked the owl house every night for 18 days before Lucy finally decided to stay in daily. 1/24/11

Lucy woke to having a large treat in the box. It was a rabbit which she snacked on all day.

Ricky arrive promptly at 6:46, bonded, but didn’t bring a treat. He left and returned several times empty handed. Lucy left twice after dark, but only for a couple of minutes each time.
