Lucy the Barn Owl appeared in the owl house on the morning of 12/29/10 in Poway, CA. It was raining that day and she stayed in all day. Ricky joined her that evening. They were living in a large palm tree not far from the owl house. They checked the owl house every night for 18 days before Lucy finally decided to stay in daily.
The house design was copied from the Molly & McGee owl box, with some extra perches added.

Lucy is doing a good job at caring for her 1st egg. Ricky did bring some treats overnight, but nothing left in the box for the day.
